Could somebody please advise me how to go about making a medical negligence claim.
Also I would be grateful if anyone could recommend any good solicitors?

I recommend you speak to AvMa (action against medical accidents) - they are a patient safety charity. They have lots of information on their website and I think they can put you in touch with solicitors. There are lots of solicitors doing this work out there, some much more experienced than others. Clinical negligence claims are complex and can take a long time, you want to feel happy that you have the right solicitor on your side.

Thank you for your response. Yes, it will be good to get an experienced solicitor and hopefully other people will be protected more from going through what I have.

A reputable solicitor with experience in the area will be crucial. Avoid anyone who advertises on the TV, especially anyone that rhymes with Plater and Fordon!

It can be a long, stressful process. My husband had an injury at work claim that took five and a half years. The average is three years. Good luck
