help with court fee/solicitor - on benefit

Hi,

Will you be able to get help with court fee and solicitor fee if you're on benefit?

I want to take my ex to court for breach of consent order but I can't afford the court and solicitor fee.

You’ll get help with court fees but not necessarily legal aid. You’ll. we’d to be the victim of domestic violence to get over the first hurdle. Second hurdle is to find a solicitor willing to take the case on at legal aid rates.

If there is cash in it you may be able to find a solicitor agreeing to take their fee when the money comes in.

Do I pay the court fee first then apply for help or I can do it before I submit my court application?

You apply for both at the same time.
