I bought a house last year, the vendor did tell me that occasionally during heavy rain that the bottom of the garden flooded. Nothing was declared to the solicitor other than this. Last week the house flooded. 4 bricks high so all of downstairs. I have also found out that the vendor had a massive insurance claim a few years ago due to flooding. This wasnt disclosed. I will be speaking to my conveyancing solicitors tomorrow but is there anything I can go back to the vendor with?
