Getting divorced after 2 years of marriage. Ex has hardly worked and then built a pension up pretty fast in 4 years. He wants half the difference in our pension pots. I am not willing to agree to this, due to part time working as have a young child my pension is hardly to climb and he will soon have a lot more than me. Does anybody have any experience? I have a solicitor but due to fees I am doing a large amount on my own

Depends on lots.

What pension rights built up between the date when you started living together and the date of separation?

How old are you both?

What do you both earn?
