Role of Guardian’s solicitor

This is probably a silly question that I know the answer to but I want to check.
The role of the guardians solicitor is to press forward with the guardians views, even if the solicitor themselves feels that it’s the wrong thing for the children, or knows there are legal arguments/case law that undermines the guardians position, is that right? They don’t have any obligation to alert the judge to guidance from the Court of Appeal or high courts?

First and foremost they should be advising the guardian of these issues.

It’s the children’s solicitor not the guardians but yes if the children are too young need to follow g instructions even if disagree
It’s not really clear what your asking - they can’t mislead the court and mainly it’s about arguing the interpretation of the law is on that side
