Anyone any experience or knowledge? Is a child still expected to attend contact with other parent if they have a vomiting bug?

Imo it's up to the dc. Some might just want to not be moved. Some might puke en route....
Childcare for work may be a factor.

Why shouldn't both parents deal with the rough as well as the smooth? The NRP shouldn't be a Disney Dad who only exists to do fun things with the kids.

Dd is only a year and contact with her dad is at soft play so as she was sick and contagious I didn’t feel it was right to send her

If you kept your dd at home I would say you did the right thing. Puke +dc at soft play would be a big deal.

I think if she was going to his house, she should go and he deals with it as a parent. At soft play though, no, not ok.
