How is this calculated? Both our solicitors have agreed I will get this but not how it will be calculated. Is there a format to calculate this?

No formula. It's what is reasonable based on need, ability to pay, length of marriage, and many other potentially relevant circumstances (see s25 MCA 1973).

This is not a question to be answered on a forum. You have a solicitor. I presume they've given you advice over this and it's really rather unfair (for you and your solicitor) for you to be second guessing them on here.
