How do I know if I’m divorced

Hi all,
This may seem like a silly question as surely I should know if I’m divorced!
I’ve moved around for work and my husband (maybe ex) has chosen to have nc with our child, so he’s never been up to date with addresses. He does however have my parents address, which has remained the same for 9 years. He’s used this sporadically to send some birthday cards etc for our child.
I seperated from him 6 years ago and he has remarried in that time and moved to America.
My question is how do I find out if I’m divorced? I have asked him for proof of divorce and he refuses to provide it to me.

It’s ok; I’ve been looking up tax stuff so I think my settings pulled up the gov stuff first! Hope you manage to get the answers
