Hoping anyone with some legal experience can advise me here.
I bought a used car end of July. Overall the car is in good condition. 8 years old, 66k miles on the clock and decent bodywork.
Since we've had this heavy rain however, some water is escaping into the cabin via the drains in the sunroof. DH and I have tested this - so we know roughly what's happening and it's gone to our local garage this morning.
My question is, the "warranty" on the car outlined what it covered and right at the top it said in red with asterisks "does not cover water leaks." I didn't think much of it at the time - but the garage have suggested to me this morning that they probably knew about the leak already hence the wording. They think the dealer will still be liable and I can challenge it.
Any advice?
