I’ll try to be as clear as possible without babbling!
I have 2 children to my abusive ex, one child was born whilst still together but I called it a day very early into the second pregnancy, ex was having contact with the child until it broke down and due to various reasons/safeguarding concerns it was stopped. It has taken my ex 8 months to apply to court and I now have a 7 month baby who he never seen, due to harassment/abuse issues he was not present at the birth or registration.
Ex was aware of the pregnancy and came to all scans and knew the due date.
The application is only for one child, the eldest but I have since had a message from ex stating he has a court date for both children, I have not had an application for the second child?
I have spoken with cafcass, who informed me he would not be allowed contact to only one child which obviously I agree with but I need to know what’s happening, if he has only applied for one child how can the court hearing be for both? Can the second child be added on to the application without my knowledge? I don’t want any surprises at the first hearing, I am so stressed already and this is my children’s lives my ex is playing games with.

He could always ask the judge to add the second child at the first hearing.

But why not apply for both children at the same time? Everything just feels like a game to put me in a bad light.
I’m so scared for the children, it’s all about money with my ex, he’s been harassing me for 10k, which at present I cannot give him as it is tied up in the family home, it feels like he is using child contact as leverage to get to the money.
This is a man who has been spoken to by the police 5 times and still refuses to leave me alone, he is a complete disrespect for the law and authority and I don’t think even a court order would stop him doing what he wants.
