Anybody had any issues? About to send mine off but read a couple of contradicting posts about using an unenrolled deed poll and the application being rejected. Anybody got any experience?

You do not need to enrol it. Feel free to name and shame whoever told you you did.

Passport, driving licence, bank stuff.....everything with a free deed poll
Worked fine for me
I already paid out a Kings ransom to get a divorce so buggered if I was going to pay even more to get my name back.

Fine for me too. But also turned out i didn't need to do it immediately and could have left it until renewal, IIRC. But then banks wanted passport etc before they would change details!

I changed the names on kids' passports using just the standard deed poll document, signed by both me and their dad, and a witness. No problem.

Did a non payment "from this date I will now be called Greenkit" witnessed and sent off to the passport office, no issues

Thank you, have sent it off to passport office now so fingers crossed it'll be no problems
