Hi just a small question, my dc has contact with ex twice a week at a contact centre. In a few weeks time dc and I have an event on the day of one of the contact visits, are we allowed to miss this one visit?

Obviously because it’s in a contact centre I can’t offer another day because the centre is only open at certain times

What is the event?
Has your ex paid for the session?

No ex hasn’t paid for the session and I’d rather not say the event incase it reveals identity sorry! It’s a once a year event though that we wouldn’t be able to go to any other time

If it is court ordered then I don't think you can for an event unless the event is important. Eg a funeral or operation.
Can you not request the contact happens on a different day?

The contact centre is only open once a week so there’s no option for another day
