I applied for decree nisi and it has been rejected. I am unsure how it is incorrect can anyone help please.

The letter states

Question 6 of the D80 Has not been answered fully.

This is the section where it asks about where we have both lived since separation, I completed my part fully and for his part I put a ? mark under dates and then the address he gave for correspondence ( I know this is not his actual address). I don't know any of his addresses since we split up only that he has lived in 3 different houses.

If anyone can help I would be most grateful as this seems to be taking forever!

Thanks

Your judge seems very fussy. Perhaps do it again but instead of putting his correspondence addresses you should put "see attached" and then attach a short paragraph about the fact that he never told you where he was living, he simply gave you these addresses as correspondence addresses, but you can state as a fact he didn't live with you at all.

I understand your frustration, mine was rejected despite being separated and living apart for nearly 8 years, it was rejected because they wanted more details of our living circumstances when we had to live under the same roof for a short time before we could arrange other living accommodation.

I waited for over 2 months to get the rejection email and had to resubmit it including more information. So now I'm waiting again and to be honest I don't feel very hopeful.

I never got an email Suretry I got a letter 2 months after sending the form in. The system is awful, it all takes far too long for cut and dried cases like ours (separated 4 years).
