Hi,
I could really do with peoples help & experiences please, as I am currently in temporarily accommodation......

Is property purchased before marriage & always kept separate counted as non-marital?

Is savings accumulated before marriage & always held in a separate bank account counted as non-marital?

If the above property & savings are used to purchase another property during a separation period & before divorce will they still be classed as non- marital?? (When proof of funds can be provided)

What percentage split of the equity in the family home is usually calculated in the following scenario please-
Married 5yrs, 1 child together who is two. Wife never worked, or contributed to the mortgage or bills because husband & wife decided that his high wage could support them. The husband has spent 100k on house improvements, the market value has gone up by 50k.
Will the amount spent on the house improvements be deducted or considered from the equity split?

I really hope that someone can advise me please? I don’t have the strength to visit solicitors right now x

It all just depends you do need to seek legal advice.

I'm sorry, you need proper advice, from a solicitor. It's impossible to advise on such questions on a forum like this.

You really need to meet wih a family solicitor with all the figures as it's impossible to advise properly on the info you have given.
