I have family court tomorrow and honestly I feel sick. my solicitor has been very chilled about the whole thing and I feel totally terrified. Anyone have any tips or pearls of wisdom??

I was in family court today for the first time, honestly I was so stressed but it was fine. Just stick to the facts (DD in my case) and don't get drawn into "he said , she said"

Thankyou. I think it’s just the fear of the unknown currehyjy! I’ll try and stay calm though and stick to the facts

My ex told a completely twisted version of the truth but they saw through it...I just said "I don't recognise that version of events" and gave my own account. I know it's terrifying...I can't remember any of the journey driving there , it's all a blur I was so worried.

I think it's perfectly normal to feel like this, but I'd say be yourself and tell the truth...stay child focussed, for them it's all about the child, not any issues between parents.

Good luck, if your solicitor is chilled (I didn't have one) then follow their lead , they're obviously confident about your case.

Let me know how you get on, will be thinking of you Flowers
