I am an expat based in an EU country. I have a property in the UK that I want to transfer to family members. Is it possible to get this transferred through a solicitor from the EU country I am in or do I need to use a UK solicitor for this?

Practically speaking it will almost certainly be cheaper and easier just to use a uk based solicitor.
