I have a children’s court hearing in under two weeks, does anyone know how quickly legal aid is approved? And also if it isn’t approved in time for the court hearing can it be back dated?

You can get an emergency certificate, but it will be limited to the initial hearing only, until the substantive certificate is granted.

It can't be backdated.
