Hi does anyone know which form I have to submit to a court to sue for libel. Also, are there any websites where litigants in person get together to discuss law?

It’s just the standard civil Claim Form (N1) I believe. These are the most relevant bits of the Civil Procedure Rules: www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/part53

There’s also a precaution protocol which you ought to follow before issue if you have sufficient time (I can’t remember the limitation period for defamation off the top of my head:

Posted too soon...(and my post above should say ‘preaction protocol’):

Don’t know of any forums for LIPs, but as a lawyer (who doesn’t practise in this area) I would be really wary of bringing a defamation action as an LIP; it’s a complex area of law and a lot of claims fail, even where the claimant is represented. You could end up with a huge costs order against you if the defendant incurs a big legal bill and defeats your claim.
