Moving with DS 200 miles away from ex

I have a 6 month old. His dad was emotionally abusive towards me and whilst I know the court will allow him access to his son, I don't want to see him again. I am in the process of getting a non molestation order against him.

I have very little support where I am now. I have my friends who I'm staying with but that's it.

Back in my hometown, 200 miles away, I have my mum, my dad, my gran, dozens of friends and a huge huge support network.

Could he stop me moving?
Would the courts potentially make me do or pay for all travel?
Would they take his abuse in to account?

Can anyone advise me re the legal aspects of this?

Yes (well not you, but your son), yes and yes.

I strongly recommend taking proper legal advice from someone you can give all of the facts to. It’s highly unlikely a court would make an order for no contact based on what you’ve said.

You can get people's opinions on here, even legal ones, but as MissMalice says, it would be better to go and get proper legal advice from someone who has been given all the info.
