SRA Closed local solicitors - how common is this?

A local practice has been closed and is being investigated by the SRA, the partners have had their licences suspended. Apparently, there is reason to suspect dishonesty on the behalf of one of the partners and a breach of the rules governing the conduct of solicitors.
