Could somebody in the know please advise me on a conflict of interest question please? I tried to book an appointment with a solicitor yesterday. They told me they couldn’t advise me because there was a conflict of interest. My DH says he spoke to them by phone and gave them his details in 2017. When they called back he told them he didn’t want to engage their services and to destroy any files. My question is would there still be a conflict of interest if that had happened in 2017 meaning I can’t appoint them now? Thanks
