Holiday booking amendment.

I'm going to be deliberately vague here, but would welcome any advice as to my legal position.

We have holiday booked for later in the year to a resort in the UK with a pool and spa. Extended family coming, near to another member of family (so can't really go somewhere else).

Report have just emailed and informed us that on the dates of our holiday, the spa and all parts attached (sauna, treatment rooms, steam rooms etc) will be closed. This was part of the reason we'd booked, and were looking forward to having some child free time while GPs looked after the kids!

Hoseasons, who we booked with, have stated that we can change to another resort and pay the difference if higher, and have said they will not offer any money off the booking.

Is that right? The amount we paid includes the spa facility, can they just change the contract like that?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Hoseasons act as agents. Your contract is actually with the resort. Contact them.
