Varying court ordered contact

There is a court order in place setting out contact between ex and children. Ex is now demanding a lot more contact than it says in the order. I have politely stated that this is not what it says in the order and he said fine, we will just go back to court.

The court order is less than 2 months old. Will he be able to take me back to court over this so soon? It took over 5 years and over £100k to get to what was supposed to be a final order.

PS if my posts seem at all vague it is because I know he is reading this. He even tried to use my posts on MN in court to show I was an unfit mother. He didn't get to do that in the end, but he is watching.

He can apply. He won’t necessarily get what he’s asking for. The court will want to know what has changed to warrant the change.

There have been no actual changes. He has just decided he is having more contact.

No changes of circumstances. No changes concerning the children or their routines.

Well he can’t decide that he is. It’s unlikely to get very far if nothing has changed.
