My son needs a new passport as his name was changed two years ago and we've booked a holiday in the summer.
Ex has PR but no contact, however he did agree to name change and PR for Step Father who has raised him.
Court order gives me full time "custody" I can take him out of the UK for 28 days at a time without exes permission and him indirect contact once a year, that he never bothers to send.

Do I need exes permission to apply for a passport?
Step Father obviously agrees as he is going with us.
