Grandparent - Parental responsibility

Does anyone know how a grandparent goes about getting parental responsibility, when living, long term, with their child and grandchild? All the PR application forms seem to be for parents and step-parents. Thanks :)

The only way a non-parent can get PR is by being married to a parent (and getting a PR agreement or court order) or by the court making a "lives with" order in their favour (which automatically confers PR). If you are the grandparent and are the primary carer (are social services involved?) it might be worthwhile you getting some legal advice about applying to court.
