Phone company refuse to investigate

I first became aware of this last month when I received an email saying they had taken £10 to top up the account. So I checked online and the data had been used up in 3 hours when the phone was at home connected to broadband. FreedomPop says the phone must have disconnected itself. As time goes on and I keep checking the account, this keeps happening (even when phone is switched off) and there are unrecognised numbers on the talk and texts. Again FP say phone is disconnecting itself and to disregard unrecognised numbers. Upon further looking I see the account goes back to December 2017, when it only started to be used November last year and they’ve been charging me this whole time! I either didn’t check or thought it was to do with other account. FP just tell me to change password which has done nothing. They refuse to apologise, refund or acknowledge what I’m telling them. My credit card company are investigating. So just warning people to stay away as there seem to be a lot of complaints about them or if anyone has any advice.

They are signed up to an adr, alternative dispute resolution, by law. Find out which one. Send formal complaint in writing to the phone co, if it is not resolved to your satisfaction within 8 weeks (but check as it might now be four) of the complaint letter, escalate the complaint to the adr.
