Cafcass time lines

Currently no contact is happening between dd and dad due to a PSO.
Cafcass have to do police checks / safeguarding ready for a hearing at the end of Feb. They have a deadline of end Jan.

Cafcass haven't been in contact with myself / my dd to speak to either of us - nor have we had any letters.
Is this standard? Normally I have had letters by now arranging a phone conversation.
Can they make a safeguarding report without speaking to me?
What happens if they don't complete before the scheduled hearing?

Any info / help would be great as I'm quite anxious about this hearing - after a long 7 years!

Often people only receive the safeguarding phone call from CAFCASS the day before the first hearing. No need to panic.

Definitely my experience. Whether it’s the initial safeguarding checks done the day before or when they’ve been given a 6 week extension on a 12 week report, and it’s been done in the last 10 days.
