Ex is a compulsive liar

Hi All, hope someone can give me advice. My ex and I separated nearly 2 yrs ago and we have a 10 yr old son. My ex has him 3 nights a week. He (ex) is a compulsive liar (he's told people he had cancer & stroke on different occasions of which he has not. Another lie has come to light in the last 24hrs where he has told people that I have run up a debt of £8000 on a credit card belonging to him. This is not the case. Can I stop my son from going to his fathers on the grounds that he is a compulsive liar?

If there is no court order in place you can do whatever you want. If there is a court order you must comply with it. If you want it changed you will have to go to court and ask for it to be varied. The lies don't appear to directly affect your son so I doubt the court would stop contact purely on these grounds.
