Annulment and debt

Hello everyone

I am currently in the process of getting my marriage annulled.

My ex-partner had debt BEFORE the marriage, which has gotten worse since I left him,

Am I still financially tied to him at this time, or since the forms have been submitted does this mean it won't affect me anymore?

Thanks :)

Annulled through the court?

His debts are never yours. You will still each have the ability to bring financial claims against the other through the family courts.

flouise,

did you succeed in the annulment? What were the grounds?
My ex lied about debts. I've checked and I'm not at all liable as we have no joint accounts. Joint accounts can complicate whether people can take the money he owes from that account though.
