A little unsure of what this means as solicitors reception wasn't very informative, my ex has been trying for the last couple of years to get access but on last two occasions he failed to turn up at court to tell the judge if he was continuing his action (after his solicitor stopped acting on his behalf), obviously the judge would see that as "unfavourable" and as a result has dismissed the actions that the ex has started, does this mean that I've won all legal rights to my child and that he has none? I've certainly won I know that much!!! So can any of you lovely ladies who's been in a similar position confirm if what I've written here is correct or if I'm misreading the situation

Tia

It means whatever he was applying for has been stopped. He hasn’t lost parental responsibility (if he had it).

Thanks - wasn't sure what to read into it,

I would assume it means the case has stopped and if at some point in the future he try’s again then a new case will be opened
