Jury summons, exemption?

Hi there I need advice,
I've received a jury summons, i am all for doing my civic duty, however, I am currently being treated with medication for server anxiety and depression the medication affects my ability to think straight at times, do you think I could get an exemption on these grounds? should I go to the doctors and get a note/letter?

I got a medically unfit note from my GP when I was unwell and was exempted by the court.

thank you @Groovee i will make an appointment to see my gp on monday, any other time i would have done it but i feel to fragile right now, and my meds sedate me too much
