Hi, I ordered an iPad from O2 last week. I had the confirmation emails and then 10 mins later an email saying it was out of stock.
I went on the live chat to find out when it would be in stock or if they had an alternate in stock but after 5 Mina got cut off.
I then saw an email saying it was being delivered giving me the new number and a delivery date etc.
The next day it was delivered but in the meantime I had had 4 more emails apologising for it being out of stock and throughout this time I have been checking my account and the order and the iPad is not showing. I put the sim in but it says ‘no service’ so I contacted live chat again and said the sim wasn’t working, gave them the serial number etc and the agent repeated that the iPad was out of stock.... I said I had the iPad in my hands and I was told the sim would start working soon. I ended the call but had a transcript of the chat emailed to me.
Two days later, sim still not working and so I chat again and same thing, iPad is out of stock etc etc but eventually told that it would work within 24 hours....
Fast forward to this morning.... sim still not working, iPad still not showing on account and on chat told there are back end issues and that it will work within 24 hours....
My question is, after 3 atttempts to get them to log that I have received the iPad, how much more do I need to do? If they don’t add the iPad to my account is it then considered free? It’s frustrating that I’m having to chase them to charge me
