WHERE ARE THE ESTATE MONEY

I am the executor/beneficiary of my Late father estate. As I'm living in Italy I have appointed a solicitor to be my representative. What I would like to know is after she granted Probate were did the funds go, do they have a firm account or do they have a client account? Can I have them transferred into my executor account? I asked for a print out of the statement to see what money were paid in and what money were paid out but she told me it was going to take a lot of time to have it done how is that possible?

From what I've heard in the past, winding up an estate can take a good year, easily. They need to apply for a death certificate and send it everywhere to prove death to release funds & then pay death duties. Your solicitor should be keeping you in the loop though.

I have already applied for the death certificate & I know that has been sent out to everyone. By now my solicitor has encashed the funds but where did the money go? Into a "Firm account" or into an Estate account?

Estate monies will be in the solicitor's client account. They will pay bills and fees and then distribute as per the terms of will/intestacy. They normally won't distribute until 6 months after date of grant in case of claims against the estate. You can ask for interim estate accounts to see what has been received and paid.
