School having violent exh as first contact

I know this is something and nothing, and probably just an administrative error. ...

But. .. when I got the contact details confirmation sheet from ds1's school yesterday, they had his father listed as the main contact, along with a mobile phone number that I don't remember giving to them. (They also had our house phone as his home and work number.)

Obviously, I've made it clear that they need to change this urgently, and they've promised they will do so. I pointed out that ds1 has had no contact with his dad for 3 years, and that they have copies of the non-molestation orders on file.

Exdh still has parental responsibility, and all the non-molestation orders and restraining orders have expired.

I don't THINK the school would bexpect stupid enough to contact exh in an emergency. ... but this has got me all twitchy.

Am I able to insist that they don't contact him?

Can you get the non molestation and restraining orders re done?

Either way I would get it in writing that they have changed that contact sheet....email them and ask for confirmation so you can be sure it's done. THEN go in a week later and ask to see a copy of the new sheet.

Just to be sure. They sound incompetent so it is best to be extra careful.

You're not able to insist they don't ever contact him, but so far as primary contact is concerned it must be you as the resident parent. It's bonkers that it's not.
