Can an ex partner change contact hours?

Hi

I was wondering if anyone had any advice they can share with me. My partner has a 3 year old child with his ex partner, when they separated they agreed he could see his child 1 night a week (Wednesdays) and every other weekend. We have recently been on holiday with his child and now his ex partner is stopping him from seeing his child tonight because we have recently been away. It was his first holiday away with his child, we rarely get to see his child extra, there are occasional days here and there in the year but she often tries to make him sacrifice the Wednesday night because he had seen the child 'extra'. Can she do this? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the agreement more formal so we can have his child for holidays and occasional days and not have to sacrifice Wednesday nights? Do fathers have 50% rights if they see their child 1 night a week and every other weekend?

You would have to take it to court I think.
Informal arrangements can be changed.

In the absence of any court orders she can do what she likes. If your partner cannot agree with his ex he will need to take her to court.
