OH has been "asked" to leave his job. He's been there over 20 years with no issues. They're using cot3.
We've decided to go with it but want a better financial offer than is on the table.
Acas have said we need to come up with our own figure but we want to just send an email pointing out that this is unfair dismissal and that if made redundant he'd be offered x so the figure offered isn't acceptable, and see what they come back with.
Do we have to come up with a specific figure? If so should we go for what we'd accept or the redundancy figure, as I assume they will come back lower than any figure we say?
We are not finding acas very helpful and wondering about using a solicitor instead.
