I was hoping someone may be able to help.
Things with my husband are very rocky at the moment. We aren’t divorcing but I think a trial separation is on the cards.
We live with his parents and so I’m not a homeowner. Or a renter. In fact to be honest with you I have nothing to my name apart from a bit of maternity pay saved up. I would have nowhere to live.
Its important that I stress that I’m not a victim of domestic violence or anything like that and so there isn’t an immediate emergency , we are just in a very bad place emotionally right now and can’t seem to resolve it.
I’m on maternity leave, but when working I work part time 20 hours on minimum wage. I could ask for more hours when the time comes for me to go back (subjext to hours being available) but in the meantime would I be entitled to any help with housing. I appreciate it’s not an Emergency situation and there are many women worse off than I am.
