I ordered an item of jewellery online and forgot to change the delivery address in my account details to my new address. When the parcel didn't turn up I realised the mistake I'd made and texted the new house owner. She said it had arrived and I could collect it in a couple of days when she was off work. I called her today to ask if I could collect the parcel and she said she'd already taken it to the post office and returned it
. My question is- if the company say they haven't received it back, do I have to pay for a replacement or can I claim a refund from my credit card. I'm so annoyed about this as I can't really afford to shell out another £80 for the same item again
