What happens after final hearing?

I have a two day trial listed in September and I’m acting in person. I just wanted to know the procedure following the hearing. Proceeds of sale are currently being held to joint order, can a judge order a distribution of liquid assets with immediate effect? And is the consent order agreed and signed by us there and then?

Whatever the timescale is determined by the court.

If there is a need to sign an order you'll likely is sign it there.

It won't be a consent order if it's a trial!

Usually the order builds in delays in case anyone appeals and asks for a "stay". Also, has decree Absolute been pronounced?

Apologies I’m not 100% certain on the correct terminology. We’re currently at the decree nisi stage, no absolute has been pronounced. Can I request make a request for part of the funds to be released or will just have to wait for whatever timescales the judge decides?

What reasons would there be for appeal? After 20 months, I’m not sure I can deal with much more. I’m just trying to figure out time scales and wether or not I will be divorced by late October.
