Parking ticket

Sat in the hairdressers with my toner on watching the time my parking ticket expires get closer. It expires in 3 minutes and I'm going to be at least half an hour. There were delays and I should of been out of here 15 minutes ago. I just know I'm going to have a ticket... guessing I can't appeal and say I was in an appointment that over ran? I'm so skint right now and this is the absolute last thing I need. Praying I get away with it

I don’t think they will accept your appeal based on the fact you were in the hairdressers!

Also, I don’t know how it works in your local area, but where I live the £60 fine is reduced to £30 if you pay within 14 days. However, if you appeal you automatically forgo this reduction, so if you lose you have to pay the full £60.

I think you just need to take this on the chin and as a lesson learned!
