Ex and remortgage

My ex is trying to argue that i persuaded him to re mortgage his house into joint names and that he didn't understand.

This is a grown man with full capacity who has bought and sold many houses!!

When this happened did yoy both have independent advice?

Whether or not you both got independent advice is largely irrelevant in this situation.
