Please Tell me about Occupational Order - urgent application

I need one of these urgently. It's my fault, I've sat around for too long not wanting to bait the bear.
EXP was arrested for DV last month, he has stayed away from the property we both share. (Joint tenants) On the weekend, he just walked in. SS had stated that I must call the police on any occasion if he does this. I called the police when he walked in - they were very unsympathetic said that I needed a lawyer.
I will be representing myself but need this in place for the next 24 hours. Any help/ advice would be helpful.

It’s called an occupation order. You’ll find the form here www.gov.uk/government/publications/form-fl401-application-for-a-non-molestation-order-occupation-order.
You should look in to getting legal aid for this.
You need to fill in the form, do a statement in support, go to court, go before a judge and ask for him to be ordered to stay away. You then get a process server to serve him with all the court papers (and any order), and await a hearing at which he can come and have his say.
