Can anyone help me with this PLEASE?
I have my first hearing in the family court this Thurs. My ex is taking me to court over contact with DS. He currently has no contact due to a domestic violence incident at my home.
The thing is I got the c7 acknowledgement form in with the application and I asked my solicitor if I need to fill it in and he said there's no need. I asked because there is a question in it about domestic violence and as there has been incidents I assumed I should fill it in? I asked him 3 times to be doubly sure but he said I didn't need to. Just said to turn up on the day that's the most important thing and it can be dealt with on the day.
Is he right in saying I didn't need to fill it in as i am really panicking now and wondering if it's too late now as the hearings on Thursday. It also says in the c7 that if i answer yes to questions 6 and/or 7 to also fill in a c1A form. I answer yes to question 7 (domestic violence).
My solicitor has been a bit useless to be honest and he's not even representing me as he's away this week so am going it alone so completely lost as to what to do now.
Please help I am mega stressed.
