Divorce Amendment - Please help!!

My partner is getting to the final stages of the divorce - just in time as our baby is due soon! After years of waiting, we send off the Divorce Nisi only to be rejected by the court for the following reason: 'The applicant must file and amended petition detailing his full name as per the marriage certificate at section 4.4 of the petition'.

They sent us back the section of the divorce which needed amending so we have crossed out the bit of the name that needed the amendment and added in the middle name.

The one thing i need to know is whether he needs to also send a statement of truth or if this is enough?? any help would be appreciated!

First you need a clean copy of the petition.

You need to add all changes in red, and do any deletions in red.

You need to re-sign and re-date in red, saying "amended x date".

Then send 3 sets to Court. The fee to amend is £95.

Did the court say if service of the amended petition could be dispensed with?
