Well not exactly. I have changed accounts and trying to pay my ex for my DS. The 'switch' isn't complete until Friday. Due to pay Tomorrow. I have asked whether she can re give me her details to manually pay her tomorrow or wait till Fri if she don't mind. And she's said no.. She will ring as a missed payment.
Wtaf? She's saying it's not safe to give me her bank details?
I will call cms tomorrow anyway and explain. And see what they suggest.
She doesn't understand that I can't actually do in until either all payee details are switched from my old account, which I hoped would be done by now.. Or if she gave me agaun ill transfer it straight away?

What will cms do

Are u moving the account via the current account switch ? If so when is your switch date?

Melsharpshooter · 28/05/2018 17:33

I receive money through the cms and I can't report a missed payment until 5 working days after payment is due. So I would ring them tomorrow to explain but you should be fine to pay on Friday.

If you are doing a current account switch the banks should sort this out between them for there to be no break in any payments this is part of the government charter they agreed to.

They disregard anything paid within 5 days of payment date. So if she rings them to say it’s missed they’ll ask her to ring back on the 5th working day. I’ve had to do this with exh, he told me he wasn’t going to pay, didn’t pay so I rang them and then had to call back. It says on the self service website as well to not log a late payment if it’s been less than that.

Thanks. Switch is June, 1st...
Ah well let her ring then and they'll tell her the same I guess..
Not much I can do about it. She could of just given me payment detail again and I could of manually done it today
