Small business purchase

Looking to possibly buy a small business - no more than 10k.
Anyone any ideas of what legal fees would be involved. Just a rough idea for rough budgeting over weekend.
Obv will seek advice come Monday!

No idea on legal fees but do you also need an accountant to review the books for you?

Sale of 50% of a partnership 18months who we provided the partnership agreement, £2500. The value was quite a lot more, but legally less as no need to register with companies house,

The legal fees you will likely incur depend upon how complicated the transaction is. Are you buying the assets of the business or shares? Does the business employ any employees who will transfer to you? Does the business occupy premises which will be transferred to you?
