I left my ex partner around 2 months ago and left with our 6 week old baby. Long and short of it he wasn't contributing to the home, absenting himself from the home leaving me with a newborn along with a multitude of other things. It's came to a head when he told me to fuck off in an argument so I did exactly that. Anyway he's trying to sue me for full custody 
so I sought legal advice which I was advised before any court action mediation has to be participated in. Out initial session is next week and I was just wondering what to expect or if anyone has any experience of mediation?? He is an incredibly unreasonable and stubborn man who is adamant about his legal rights and will not settle for anything other than what he wants! I'm just a bit nervous as I really want to keep this out of court
