Hi all. 6 years post divorce and have agreed financial settlement with ex husband. V favourable to him, equates to 13% of marital assets for me. I had made offer which he accepted, if he had not I’d have filed form E and I believe he’d have carried a much greater risk at court. He is sourcing funds but says his solicitor has said form D81 needs to be filed. I’ve not got a solicitor though and happy to instruct but
not sure D81 is mandatory in a clean break? If it is, I’ll complete. If not I’ll push back. Thanks for any advice

You are applying for a consent order as you have agreed it between you. The fact that you've agreed a clean break is irrelevant. You need form D81.
