I am British by Birth as were all my ancestors My Daughter was Born in Beijing-her mother is Chinese
My Daughter is 15 years old and has her second British Passport BUT
When she was born I had dual citizenship British and USA and her Chinese birth certificate shows father as a US Citizen This was a requirement at the time as my Chinese visa was in my US passport.
What can I do to get some kind of registration for her in the UK as a replacement for the Chinese Birth Certificate which by the way is lost and the Chinese Government will not issue a new one

What do you need to use a UK birth certificate for? I've never had to present mine, as a UK passport is always sufficient
