Hi
I am new to Mumsnet. My partner has been a long time member, and suggested that I ask here for some information. I am willing to engage a solicitor if needed, but I feel I may not need to in the first place, if I can get some simple direction...

I am employed by a large firm, who put me through a very stressful period (over 1 year), because they failed to adhere to the governing legislation.

They were investigated by the regulatory body, and were found to have failed me, in all aspects.

They wrote to me apologising, and accepting all the findings...

Could someone with legal expertise spend a few minutes on a PM to me?

I don't want to engage a solicitor unless I have to. I simply don't have the funds...

Any help appreciated.

I'm not an employment solicitor, but if you have house insurance that includes legal expenses, you may be covered.

There are very knowledgeable and helpful employment lawyers and HR specialists on the Employment board so it may be a good idea to post on there
